Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Can anyone help me?

Ok, so I figure instead of me just posting a new thread everytime I want to find something, I'll just keep updating this one. I found a copy of the Egypt show. Thanks for the help y'all. I'm still in search of the Festival Express shows, but I don't have high hopes for it at the moment anymore. Here are the shows I have tried to punch in but somehow don't seem to be able to pull up for find on the site, maybe someone will be able to help me out with these as well?

5/01/80
9/02/80
4/8/72
4/14/72
4/24/72 - Dusseldorf
Dozin' At The Knick

I am also a big Terrapin and Ship of Fools fan. If anyone can recommed a good show where these songs are hidden away and subliminally placed throughout the night leading into them, it would be awesome. I love when The Dead get into my head and I hear the song subliminally playing in another song before it actually plays. Anyone?

The only thing on here from the Canada run is a snippet of a show from 7/1/70.

Although look on youtube for a sweet vid of them doing Hard To Handle on this run. Smoove as buttah.

Your Egypt show is 9/16/78 (though someone edited most the drum part out).

The Canadian shows from June/July 1970, unfortunately, just aren't out there aside from what showed up on the Festival Express DVD. It's likely they have some more film "outtakes", but these shows may not even be in the vault. (You can try emailing David Lemieux.) Just part of the whole 1970 missing-recordings tragedy!

That sucks. Both about the drums being edited out and the missing shows. If anyone hapens to have a good copy of The Dead in Egypt I would love to get my hands on a copy.

If you do the torrent thing, the Egypt shows are up at Lossless Legs. If not, I'd be willing to B & P the 14th &/or the 16th. The 14th is poorly mixed but the best available while the 16th is well worth adding to your collection. Also have the China>Rider & Lovelight from the 7-3-70 show in Calgary, but only in mp3 format. Let me know & I'll post my e-mail.

Egypt is 78 not 77. You can download the audience copies here and they are damn listenable recordings imo.

Can't help you with any of the 70 Canada shows eh
